Google Business Profile · Initial setup
Help your business show up clearly on Google
We organize your business information so people who find you on Google Maps and Search can understand what you do and how to get in touch.
Start with the context
Is it right for your business?
Google Business Profile, formerly Google My Business, lets you manage your business details on Search and Google Maps.
It is intended for businesses that serve customers in person, at a location or by visiting them. An online-only business is not eligible. We review how you operate and Google's requirements before proposing a setup.
This can help if your details are incomplete, you do not yet manage an existing profile or you need to get started. If there is an ownership dispute or a suspension, we review the situation first to define what assistance is possible.
An organized foundation
What initial assistance includes.
Review
We check eligibility and the profile's status. We look for an existing listing to avoid creating a duplicate.
Create or claim
We help you create or claim the profile where appropriate, with your authorization and an account you control.
Setup
We work on categories, description, hours and contact details. We add an initial set of services and images you provide, and link your website if you have one. The amount of material is agreed in the proposal.
Verification and handover
We guide you through the steps Google makes available. We explain the changes, the profile's status and how to manage it.
What we need from you
Real information. Access you control.
- Your real business name and a description of what you do.
- Your address and how you serve customers, or the area where you visit them.
- Regular and special hours, phone number and website link.
- Your services and photos you own or have permission to use.
- A link to an existing profile and its access status.
- The business owner's participation to authorize the work and complete verification.
Ownership stays with an account you control. Where appropriate, you invite us as managers; we do not need your password. You enter verification codes yourself.
How we work
Review, configure and explain.
Tell us your situation
Share your activity, how you serve customers and a profile link if one exists. We check whether this assistance fits your needs.
Agree on a proposal
We define tasks, materials, access and handover. The quote depends on the profile's condition and the information that needs preparing.
Set it up together
We add the agreed information and guide the owner through the available verification steps.
Hand over the status and access
We review what has been configured, any outstanding steps and how to keep the information up to date.
Clear responsibilities
What we do. What Google decides.
Liminal reviews, organizes and configures the agreed information. Google decides verification methods, approval of information and profile visibility. We do not guarantee approval, verification timelines, rankings or numbers of inquiries.
You can do this yourself. Our guide to adding your business to Google Maps walks through the process and links to official help.

Before you inquire
Common questions.
Do I have to pay Google?
Creating and managing a Business Profile is free. Our quote covers the agreed assistance and work. It does not include paid advertising.
Can you verify my business for me?
We provide guidance, but verification requires your participation and the evidence Google requests. Available methods depend on Google; we cannot choose one that is not offered.
How much does it cost, and how long does it take?
We first review the profile, access and materials. That lets us define the cost and schedule for our work. Google's reviews follow their own timeline, which we cannot guarantee.
What if someone already manages the profile?
We review the ownership or access request process. We do not create another profile to bypass a dispute or promise to recover access. If extra assistance is needed, we define its scope before proceeding.
Do I need a website?
A website is not a general requirement for a profile. If you have one, we link the appropriate page. Your website develops your offer in more detail; the profile brings together information that helps people find and contact you.
Can I manage it afterward?
Yes. We explain how to access it and maintain hours, contact details and other information. If you need continued assistance, we discuss it as additional work.
The next step
Let's start with your business.
Tell us what you do, how you serve customers and whether you already have a profile. We review the starting point to prepare a proposal.
